About us

Healthy Holidays Hull offers free holiday activities and healthy food for children and young people in Hull during the school holidays.

Funded by the Department for Education through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, it is open to all children and young people living in Hull.

What we offer

During Easter, summer and winter school holidays, children can -

  • take part in fun activities such as sports, arts, cooking and games and learn a new skill
  • enjoy healthy, nutritious food
  • make new friends, try new things and gain confidence
  • feel safe, supported and welcome

All activities are free of charge.

For families across Hull

Activities take place in local communities across the city, so families can access support close to home. Sessions are delivered in trusted places such as -

  • Schools
  • Family Hubs
  • Youth Centres
  • Community and voluntary organisations

SEND

We aim to make Healthy Holidays Hull welcoming to everyone.

Many locations offer SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) activities, with sessions suitable for different age groups. If your child has additional needs, we encourage you to check what support is available at your chosen location.
