Easter Training Programme 2024

The Healthy Holidays Training Programme is an integral part of the Healthy Holidays programme overall. As each programme is delivered the holiday provision across the city continues to grow and develop, which means a more varied programme of activities is delivered to children and young people across the city, which is fantastic.

Part of the growth of the programme is to support and provide opportunities to develop the Healthy Holidays workforce. This is to ensure staff, volunteers and young leaders are confident and competent to deliver high quality provision across all the delivery partners within the programme.

The training programme has been put together based on feedback from delivery partners as well as including access to minimum operating standards courses that are required to deliver as part of the Healthy Holidays Programme.

The training programme is free to all those organisations and partners involved in the delivery of the Healthy Holidays Programme. These opportunities are for staff, volunteers, and leaders so there is an expectation that funded partners utilise this training opportunity wherever possible.

Please share this information within your organisation to ensure that all staff update any qualifications and courses required to meet minimum standards and also to ensure they get access to developmental opportunities to support them in their delivery within the community.

Please note that although these courses are offered at no charge to Healthy Holidays Providers and key partners, there are costs to running them. If you register, please commit to attending. Should you find yourself unable to attend, please inform Kirsty.leake@hullcc.gov.uk or Ryan.naylor@streetgames.org as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list for certain courses where demand exceeds availability.

This Easter there are a variety of training courses and workshops on offer, here is what is available:
