Our programme

Is designed to provide children and young people with free fun activities across the school holidays. Activities are for -

  • children with SEND

  • children aged 5 to 11 year olds together with their families.

We offer lots of swimming activities at Frederick Holmes, Hymers College and Everlast Gym as well as sporting, crafts and musical opportunities in a variety of venues throughout the city.

Activities for SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) Children, Young Adults and their Families

Sportsability are delivering a wide variety of sessions aimed at children and young people with SEND and their families. These include swimming, multisport activities, dance, music and crafts. 

Activities for all 5-11 Year Olds

 Sportsability are offering swimming and water based activities for all 5 to 11 year olds and their families at a range of venues throughout the City of Hull including Everlast Gym, Hymers College and Frederick Holmes. We have a fabulous opportunity to provide fully funded Rookie Lifeguard training for those children able to swim 25 metres and aged 8 to 12 years and our own Mini Lifeguard training for those children who are unable to swim 25 metres and aged 5 years to 11 years.  

We also have some great games based sessions including water volleyball and water basketball, free play with water rafts and pool toys as well as our intensive swimming lessons. All our sessions are safely supervised with our highly qualified and experienced team of Swim Teachers and lifeguards. We are offering you a summer of fabulous water play, water confidence building and the ability to learn new skills, fully funded by Hull City Council for eligible applicants.
